Great piece! I love the character you created. Doesn't seem to be as much detail in the background as there is on the main character, but then again I suppose that makes him stand out more! I love the texture on his body. Very well done!

What is it exactly? Excellent rendering and colour scheme. My only crit is the sky bg--it looks like a straight gradient. You should prabably paint it by hand.

really good use of colours, I'm just blown away how your drawings are so sharp looking. Also, I'm a big fan of people not staying in any mold with anatomy, or how something "should" look (with reference to one of the above comments)... I think it looks great, and fits just fine with the painting.
